yes, big mistake. three of us siblings are the executors and the only beneficiaries…two years later and 20K out of two of our pockets one stays in house and refuses any communication etc. we are very frustrated. I am hiring my accountant to do the job or giving away everything before I die.

I was originally the lone executor of my deceased mothers estate, but one month after she signed her will, my two other brothers pressured her to make all 3 sons executors. Now the problems arise. Their are two main estate homes and one brother is living in one house and the other brother in the other house and they will not leave. The power has been swithched off both houses for non payment of over 6 thousand dollars with interest climbing every day and they are still in houses. The property taxes are over 10 grand owing. They have not produced an inventory of items in over a year and a half. They do not respond back to my lawyers letters. Finally have a court date to have them removed as executors but I hear judges do not like to go back on wishes of deceased.. I would even go for the judge to make someone independent to handle administration of estate . I hope it finally can get resolved as the estate is wasting away in debts and lawyer bills.
